Multi Media producer
Bill Martin
Bill Martin is a filmmaker and creative storyteller. Originally from California, Bill began filming action sports and lifestyle content in San Francisco before studying at UC Santa Barbara. After college, he made the move to Oahu, where he quickly became part of the community and began working full-time with local surf legend Jamie O’Brien.
Since then, Bill has traveled the world with some of the top names in surfing—capturing powerful, cinematic stories along the way. His work combines technical mastery with a raw, honest feel that resonates deeply with audiences. Whether shooting in the ocean, the jungle, or remote corners of the globe, Bill brings a grounded, creative energy to every project.
Documentary filmmaker / Phhotographer
Alex Gorman
Alex is a documentary filmmaker, photographer, and the founder of Filament Media, a production company focused on impact-driven stories rooted in the outdoors. As a cinematographer, he’s dedicated to capturing authenticity through adventure—always chasing moments that feel raw and real. Splitting his time between California and Oʻahu’s North Shore, Alex has developed a rare ability to connect deeply with extraordinary people through his lens. When he’s not paragliding, you’ll probably find him tucked inside a barrel, still trying to make it out—just once.

Shaper
Matt Fregeau
Founder of Red Dirt Resin, a surfboard brand born on the North Shore of Oʻahu. Originally from Indiana, Matt moved to Hawaiʻi as a teenager and quickly fell in love with surfing. In 2011, as he was learning to ride waves, he was also introduced to the world of board building — drawn in by the unique blend of craftsmanship, performance, and expressive design. Riding boards he shaped with his own hands in the powerful surf became a driving passion.
Since then, Matt has worked alongside legendary shapers and surfers who’ve helped guide his path. Today, he runs a two-story factory he built himself, continuing to explore the art of board building through Red Dirt Resin. His greatest joy is sharing his craft with friends and loved ones in the water — a connection that stays at the heart of everything he creates.
Tattoo Artist
Andrew Giletti
Tucked away under a banyon tree next to your local peacock in the heart of historic Haleiwa, HI Andrew has over 15 years experience creating art through his passion. He has spent years learning the trade through generations of experienced mentors with a refined approach that focuses mainly on traditional designs but can handle whatever you throw at him.
Photographer
Desmond Lai
Whale researcher and underwater photographer, originally from Canada and Hong Kong, now based in Hawai‘i. My passion for the ocean started in college with a GoPro and has since grown into a love for storytelling through a lens. I believe time is finite and experiences are priceless, so I aim to explore the world through wildlife, culture, and connection. I’m currently working with my good friend Philip Au on Taotaotasi—an expedition project dedicated to sharing these experiences through education, cultural exchange, and conservation.
Shaper
Ryan Muller
From Pennsylvania to Florida and eventually Oʻahu, his path has always been driven by a passion for surfing and craftsmanship. After apprenticing under master shaper Tony Lanaronne, he built his reputation hand shaping every board himself. Today, with over 300 hand-shaped boards and thousands more completed through every stage of production, his work reflects a deep respect for timeless craftsmanship and purposeful design.
